Justin Woodburn
Physiotherapist

Justin is a physiotherapist who helps people return to what matters most, whether that’s competing in sports, moving outdoors, playing with young ones, or any other important part of daily life. He completed his Master’s of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and combines hands-on manual therapy with exercise and education to restore function and manage pain. His approach is rooted in current evidence and is focused on building clear treatment plans that match each person’s goals and unique backgrounds.

Justin’s practice in physical therapy is shaped by his experience with movement and injury. He competed in ski racing, powerlifting, and volleyball, and captained the UBC cheerleading team to gain a world championship bid. After a low back injury while pushing himself in powerlifting, he went through rehabilitation from the patient side, solidifying his professional focus on clear communication, individualized care, and being truly heard.

His practice also extends beyond common injuries and conditions, as he has experience and expertise in chronic pain rehabilitation, leveraging skills such as graduated movement re-introduction and pain neuroscience education to achieve positive results.

Outside of the clinic, Justin spends his free time skiing and hiking locally, and has recently returned from four months of backpacking through Asia. He combines his love for movement with a passion for working with people of all backgrounds, enabling him to communicate clearly, and comprehensively individualize care for each patient.

The Goal: Justin doesn’t just want to help you recover from your injury, but also to empower you to move, feel, and return to your daily life confidently in a way that’s meaningful for you.
