Born and raised in Abbotsford, BC, Koby is a CIS Men’s soccer alumnus who played for the University of the Fraser Valley while attaining his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a Psychology minor. He then moved to Australia to complete his Master’s of Physiotherapy at Griffith University in 2016. He has been working locally for the past 9 years, treating a wide range of conditions and helping mentor young, aspiring physiotherapy students.
Koby’s treatments are primarily focused on ensuring each patient can learn and truly understand their rehabilitation process and further incorporate it into their daily lives. His goal is to create lasting positive change through education, hands-on manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, biomechanical analysis, and exercise prescription. He believes in growth and lifelong learning and has completed additional postgraduate courses in Gunn IMS/Dry Needling, Concussion & Vestibular Rehabilitation, Manual Therapy, Titleist Performance Institute Golf Certification, and is currently pursuing his Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Therapy Certification (FCAMPT). His goal is to continue to provide new strategies and treatment options to his clients to help them reach their specific goals.
Koby is happily married and can often be found out and about pursuing one of his many hobbies: soccer, golf, tennis, hiking, skiing/snowboarding, or out running with his dog, Indy.
