Lucas de Beer is a graduate from the University of British Columbia with a Masters in Physiotherapy. From a young age, Lucas has been a skilled athlete. He has played at provincial and national levels, which attributes to his role as a physiotherapist. His personal experiences, combined with his clinical expertise, make him an asset to providing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.


Lucas offers a patient-centred approach through building rapport with his patients and explaining complex medical concepts in a simple and understandable way. He also believes in the importance of preventative care to help his clients prevent future injuries and attain their functional goals.

Lucas is a strong believer that this profession entails life-long learning. He is adept at using a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities and continues to stay up to date with the latest advancements of physiotherapy. Since graduation, he has completed additional courses in manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and the Titleist Performance Institute golf certification. His passion for sport specific rehabilitation along with vestibular rehabilitation resonates from his own career-ending concussion while playing for Rugby Canada. Lucas’ athletic career has equipped him with a unique ability to empathize with his patients and understand their physical needs.


Outside of his professional life, he continues to stay active and enjoys fishing, golfing, and running after his twin boys.
